Alexis Marcelo

Alexis Marcelo (* around 1985) is an American jazz and improvisation musician ( piano , synthesizer ).

Alexis Marcelo worked in the American jazz scene from the late 2000s; The first recordings were made with Mike Pride 's From Bacteria to Boys, on whose albums Betweenwhile (2010) and Birthing Days (2013) he was involved. He also played with drummer Will Glass in the duo Lexiglass , with whom two productions were made around 2015, and in Adam Rudolph's band Moving Pictures (album Glare of the Tiger , 2017). In the field of jazz he was involved in recording sessions between 1967 and 2016. He is currently leading his own trio with Devin Waldman (alto saxophone) and Malik Washington(Drums); also in a trio with Sean Sonderegger (tenor saxophone) Shawn Lovato and Joe Hertenstein .
