Alexis von Schauenburg

Peter Joseph Balthasar Alexis von Schauenburg (born June 21, 1828 in Strasbourg , † May 1, 1894 in Geudertheim ) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schauenburg studied law and was a judge and ancien magistrate in Geudertheim.

From 1874 to 1877 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Alsace-Lorraine 9 (Strasbourg-Land). As an independent clerical, he did not join any parliamentary group in the Reichstag.

The Château de Schauenbourg is located in Geudertheim.
