Alf Mitchell

Alf Mitchell (actually Alfred Edward Mitchell; born May 10, 1941 ) is a former Australian javelin thrower .

In 1962 he won the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth with his personal best of 78.11 m.

In the same year he became Australian champion.
