Alfred Bärtschi

Alfred Bärtschi (born November 6, 1965 ; resident in Sumiswald ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

He has been on the board of SVP in his place of residence Lützelflüh since 2010 and a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since June 1, 2010 . Bärtschi locates his statements on the occasion of the Bern elections in 2014 in the right-wing conservative camp. From June 2010 to May 2018 he was a member of the cantonal justice commission. Since June 2018 he has been a member of the BaK Construction, Transport, Energy and Spatial Planning Commission.

He is also Vice President of the Swiss Club for Entlebuch Cattle Dogs.

Bärtschi is a qualified farmer and farm manager with a federal certificate. On January 1, 2000, he and his wife took over their parents' farm. He has been training apprentices since 1996 and also works as a cantonal examination expert.
