Alfred Banze (born September 29, 1958 in Kirchbauna ) is a German artist .

Life

1987 diploma in fine arts at the comprehensive university in Kassel - 1995 diploma postgraduate studies AV media at the art academy for media Cologne - since 2001 projects in Berlin children and youth institutions - 2003 guest professor at the university for film and television Potsdam in Potsdam - since 2004 workshops, seminars and lectures in Potsdam, Münster, Paderborn, Suva / Fiji, Bangkok / Thailand, Kunming / China, Accra / Ghana, Ha Tay / Vietnam, Georgetown / Guyana, Papeete / Tahiti, Varanasi, India.

Works

Alfred Banze makes films, performances, installations, drawings and objects. Since 2001 he has been working on artistic participation projects in which children, young people and adults, laypeople, artists and specialists from various fields are involved in artistic production.
