Alfred Bohrmann (born February 28, 1904 , † January 4, 2000 ) was a German astronomer .
Life
He received his doctorate in 1927 at the State Observatory Heidelberg-Königstuhl at the University of Heidelberg .
At that time the observatory was a center of asteroid discovery around Max Wolf and Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth , at that time Bohrmann discovered around nine asteroids .
Bohrmann worked at the observatory from 1924 to 1969. The asteroid 1635 Bohrmann is named after him, the asteroid 1732 Heike after one of his granddaughters ( Heike Neckel ).
