Alfred Burt (General)

Alfred Burt , CMG , DSO (* 1875 ; † 1949 ) was a British officer, most recently a brigadier general in the British Army.

During the First World War he served in various cavalry units and from April 1918 he led the 7th Cavalry Brigade as General Officer Commanding (GOC).

From June 1919 to February 1920, Burt was head of the British and later Allied military mission in the Baltic States.
