Alfred Detig
Alfred Detig (* 1896 ; † 1974 ) was a German journalist .
Life
From the 1920s Detig was the Munich correspondent for Leipziger Neuesten Nachrichten . He also wrote for the Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (DAZ).
In 1934 he was elected head of the Foreign Press Association in Munich.
Since 1935 Detig, in his capacity as a journalist, dealt with the artistic work of the German dictator Adolf Hitler , about whom he published several newspaper articles, such as the report by Adolf Hitler's Aquarelle . As part of his research in this area, some of the politician's early works came into Detig's private possession.
After the Second World War , Detig worked as a correspondent for Der Spiegel .
