Alfred Guillaume

Alfred Guillaume (* 1888 ; † 1965 ) was an Islamic scholar , orientalist, religious scholar and ordained Anglican priest. He is the translator of Ibn Ishaq's " Sirat Rasul Allah " (The Life of the Prophet Mohammed), the earliest and most important historical source of information on the life of Mohammed . He taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London .
