Alfred Gutschelhofer
Alfred Gutschelhofer (born July 28, 1960 in Graz ) is an Austrian economist and was rector of the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz .
Life
After studying business administration at the University of Graz, he was a management consultant and assistant at the Institute for Management . After research stays at US universities , he completed his habilitation in 1998/99 at the University of Graz. Gutschelhofer was a university professor and head of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at the Johannes Kepler University Linz from 2000 to 2003 .
Alfred Gutschelhofer was rector of the University of Graz from October 1, 2003 to September 30, 2011 and was replaced by Christa Neuper . He then took over the management of the Institute for Management and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at the University of Graz.
