Alfred Klingler

Alfred Klingler (born October 25, 1912 in Leipzig ; † unknown) was a German field handball player .

Alfred Klingler played for the police SV Burg, the Spvgg Leipzig, the police SV Hamburg , the police SV Magdeburg and the MSV Weißenfels; with Magdeburg he was German champion in 1935.

At the Olympic Games in 1936, Klingler played in three games of the German national team , in which he scored a total of 17 goals. In the 10: 6 win in the final against Austria he scored four times. Two years after the Olympic victory, he took part in the first men's field handball world championship in 1938 , where the German team also won the title. Klingler played a total of twelve international matches from 1934 to 1939 .
