Alfred Maizels

Alfred Maizels (* 1917 in Whitechapel (London) ; † 2006 ) was an English economist .

He had a huge impact on UNCTAD , where he worked from 1966 to 1980. In his main work, Industrial Growth and World Trade , he deals with changes in world trade as a reaction to industrialization . He has always been an advocate for the interests of the Third World.
