Alfred Joseph Maria Vacano Ritter von Wellho (born 1846 ; died 1929 ) was an Austro-Russian brewery entrepreneur.

His grandfather Anton Nicolaus Jacobus Gerardus Vacano was knighted in 1786. Alfred Vacano Ritter von Wellho founded a brewery in Samara with his son Erich in Russia and supplied all of Russia with lager beer and imported Bavarian beer. The best known was the Shiguli brand , which was named after the mountains on the edge of the Volga . Alfred and Erich Vacano were also philanthropists and patrons. They founded hospitals, schools, desalination plants and power plants and operated Volga ships.

Immediately after the 1917 revolution, the company could continue to be run by the family. In 1926 he finally returned to Mödling, where Vacano died a few years later. The beer became the leading brand in the entire Soviet Union under the name Zhigulevskoye .
