Alfredas Antanas Basevičius is a Lithuanian civil servant and former politician and vice minister .

Life

On April 18, 1990, the Lithuanian Prime Minister named Kazimira Prunskienė Basevičius as Deputy Minister of Communications in the Prunskienė Cabinet . From December 4, 1991 he was acting Minister of Communication and Information Technology . On December 31, 1991, the Lithuanian Prime Minister Gediminas Vagnorius Basevičius appointed Vagnorius I as Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatics in the Cabinet . On June 1, 1994, the Lithuanian Prime Minister Adolfas Šleževičius exonerated Basevičius as Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the Šleževičius cabinet . In 2013 he worked as the Deputy Director of the Postal Department and then as the Postal Department Director at Ryšių reguliavimo tarnyba in Vilnius .

He heads the association Lietuvos informatikos, ryšių ir elektronikos bendrija .
