Alfredo José Antonio Eugenio Porzio (born August 31, 1900 in Buenos Aires , † September 14, 1976 there ) was an Argentine heavyweight boxer. He took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris .

Career

At the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris he won the bronze medal. As a professional, he became the South American heavyweight champion in 1925. He returned this title in 1928.

Life after boxing

After his active days as a boxer, he became a boxing promoter with his brother Tino. He represented some Argentine boxers: Eduardo Laussee , Rafael Merentino , Attilio Caraune , Rinaldo Ansaloni , Ricardo González , Alfredo Bunetta , Rogelio Andrés , Miguel Rodriguez and José Santiago.
