Algirdas Taminskas

Algirdas Taminskas (born February 9, 1962 in Biržai ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, civil lawyer and lecturer at Vilnius University as well as a former judge of the Lithuanian Constitutional Court .

biography

In 1986 Algirdas Taminskas graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University with a degree in law . From September 1986 he was assistant, senior assistant and lecturer as well as lecturer. In 1993 he received his doctorate in property law . Since 1982 he has been teaching civil law and property law. From 1994 to 1999 he was the ombudsman . From October 1999 to 2000 he was a judge of the Administrative Court, from 2000 to 2007 he was a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania (LVAT), from June 2007 he was judge of Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas and from March 2008 to 2017 he was judge of the Lithuanian Constitutional Court.
