Algis Dobravolskas

Algis Dobravolskas (born October 21, 1951 in Vabalninkas , Biržai district ) is a Lithuanian economist and politician .

Life

After graduating from high school, Dobravolskas graduated from the industrial faculty of Vilniaus universitetas (VU) in 1974 and received his doctorate in 1979. From 1974 to 1976 he worked in the Ministry of Education of Lithuania , from 1979 to 1982 taught at the VU, from 1987 as a lecturer. From 1982 to 1990 he was a researcher at the Economic Institute of Lietuvos mokslų akademija , from 1990 to 1992 Minister of Social Affairs of Lithuania , from 1991 deputy prime minister. From 2003 he is head of the Chair of Economics at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas in Vilnius .
