Ali Daryusi
Ali Daryusi (born January 7, 1969 in Lattakia , Syria ) is a German engineer and professor for machine elements / CAD / FEM at Offenburg University .
Life
After studying mechanical engineering at the University of Tischreen in Syria and at the Gerhard Mercator University in Duisburg with a Dipl.-Ing. Ali Daryusi graduated with a specialization in construction technology in 2008 at the Technical University of Dresden on the subject of "Contribution to the determination of the notch effect on splined shafts with free and bound outlet" after several years of scientific activity at the Institute for Machine Elements and Machine Design (IMM) of the Technical University of Dresden.
He worked in industry as a calculation and development engineer at the company " Siemens AG - Winergy AG". There he is involved as a development engineer in the calculation and further development of planetary gears for wind turbines.
On March 1, 2010 he became professor for construction / machine elements and CAD at the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering at the Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. Ali Daryusi has headed the CAD / CAE laboratories with 120 workstations since 2010 and teaches CAD construction, technical drawing, CAE / FEM and machine elements.
Research areas
The research focus of the professorship headed by Ali Daryusi includes:
- FEM calculation of penetration and multiple notches, their relief and optimization.
- Profile shaft connections (tooth, spline and serrated shaft connections).
- Eye-tracking technology in design.
- Competence-oriented CAx training (presentation security, group work ability, judgment, diagram reading ability, individual influences and group influences on the FEM calculation process).
- Engineering and poetry.
