Ali Faez Atiyah ( Arabic علي فائز عطية, DMG ʿAlī Fāʾiz ʿAṭṭīya ) or Ali Faez for short (born September 9, 1994 in Baghdad ) is an Iraqi football player .

Career

society

Faez started club football at the Iraqi football school Al Shorta SC . Here he was accepted into the professional squad in 2010. After a season he left this club and subsequently played in turn for the clubs Al-Karkh SC , Erbil SC and Al Shorta SC.

In the summer of 2016 he moved to the Turkish first division club Çaykur Rizespor . For the 2017/18 season, Rizespor loaned him to his previous club.

National team

Faez started his national team career in 2009 with a mission for the Iraqi U-20s . With the Iraqi U-20 he took part in the U-20 World Cup in 2013 and finished fourth with her.

He subsequently also played for the Iraqi U-23 national team .
