The Iraqi U-20 national soccer team is a national team of Iraqi soccer players. It is subject to the Iraq Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations or at the U-20 World Cup .

The team achieved their best result at a World Cup when they finished fourth in 2013 in Turkey , after losing to Uruguay on penalties in the semifinals . She had previously participated in three World Cup finals. In 1977 and 2001 she was eliminated in the group stage, in 1989 she reached the quarter-finals. In 1979 , the team had qualified for the World Cup finals, but did not take part.
