The 9th FIFA Junior World Cup (officially: VII World Youth Championship for the FIFA / Coca-Cola Cup ) was held in Australia from March 5th to 20th, 1993 . 16 teams took part in the tournament. Brazil won the final 2-1 against Ghana. The best player of the tournament was the Brazilian Adriano , the top scorer was the Colombian Henry Cambrano .
