Adriano Gerlin da Silva , also known as Adriano , (born September 20, 1974 in Dracena ) is a former Brazilian football player .

Career

The striker began his career in 1992 with the Swiss club Neuchâtel Xamax , where he was under contract until the end of 1994. In 1995 he returned to his homeland in Brazil and signed a contract with Botafogo FR . After only six months he moved to the club EC Juventude . From July 1, 1996 he ran for the club São Paulo on the club. Subsequently, after two years, he moved to the Náutico Capibaribe club . Adriano was placed under contract with Atlético Mineiro for one year in 1999 . He then got a contract with the Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds in 2001 . From July 1, 2003 to December 31, 2004 he was under contract for six months each with the clubs EC Vitória , Náutico Capibaribe, AA Portuguesa .

In 2005 he moved to Poland to join CA Bragantino . Before he ended his career in 2007, he was still under contract with the clubs CRB and Atlético Nacional in 2006 .
