Mirko Stark (born September 28, 1973 ) is a former German soccer player.
Career
In the 1994/95 season, the defender was part of the Bundesliga squad of 1. FC Köln , but without being used. He later got a professional contract with SG Wattenscheid 09 , for which he made 42 second division appearances (four goals) from 1997 to 1999 . After the descent of Wattenscheider he moved to the second division club MSV Duisburg , but only made four league appearances there in the spring of 2001. After being used again in 27 regional league games for Wuppertaler SV in the 2003/2004 season , he ended his career as Competitive athlete.
Trivia
On November 12 and 19, 2007, Stark was a candidate for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and won € 8,000. He said he was working as an insurance broker by now.
