The United Arab Emirates U-20 national soccer team is a selection team of soccer players from the United Arab Emirates . It is subject to the United Arab Emirates Football Association and represents it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at U-20 World Cups and U-19 Asian Cups .
The team has so far participated in three world championships, in which they were eliminated in the round of 16 in 1997 , but only in the quarter-finals in 2003 and 2009 .
She was Asian champion in 2008 and came third in 1985 and 1996 .
