Qualification for	U-20 World Championship

The AFC U-19 Championship ( Engl. AFC U-19 Championship ) is a football competition between the best Asian teams for male soccer players under 19 years. The championship is organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The tournament was played for the first time in 1959. The tournament has been held every two years since 1986. The competition also serves as an Asian qualifier for the Junior (U-20) World Cup.

Currently, 16 teams qualify for the final round in groups ( ASEAN , East Asia and West Asia as well as South and Central Asia), which are first divided into four groups. The group first and second determined in a simple league system qualify for the quarter-finals, from which the knockout system continues. This is followed by the semi-finals, a game for third place and the final.
