Qualification for | U-20 Women's World Cup |
The women's U-20 OFC Nations Cup ( English OFC U-20 Women's Championship ) is a football competition between the oceanic national teams of female soccer players under 20 years and is primarily used to qualify for the U-20 World Cup for women. It was held for the first time in 2002, still as a U-19 competition, and is currently held every two years. In principle, all eleven current members of the OFC Oceanic Continental Association are eligible to start, but only four teams competed in 2010 and 2012. Australia only took part in the first two events it won and then switched to the Asian Football Association (AFC) : New Zealand has won all of the events since then.
