Ahmed Khalil ( Arabic أحمد خليل, DMG Aḥmad Ḫalīl ; * December 21, 1994 ) is a Tunisian football player who is primarily used in midfield . He currently plays for the Tunisian first division club Club Africain from Tunis . In addition, Khalil has been a Tunisian national player since 2016 and was appointed to the squad for the 2018 World Cup .

Career

In the club

Khalil gave his professional booty for the Tunisian first division club Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise from Kairouan . In his 2013/2014 debut season, he and his team took eighth place in the Tunisian championship.

After a year, Khalil moved to league competitor Club Africain from Tunis, with whom he won the Coupe de Tunisie in 2017 and 2018 , and in 2016 his club reached the final, but had to admit defeat to city ​​rivals Espérance Tunis .

National team

Khalil made his first appearance for the Tunisian national team on January 26, 2016 in a 5-0 win against the Niger team .
