The U-20 national soccer team of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was a selection team of Soviet soccer players. It was subject to the Federazija Futbola SSSR and represented it internationally at the U-20 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at the U-20 World Cup .

The team was U-20 world champion in Tunisia in 1977 and runner-up in Japan in 1979 . In 1991 she finished third in Portugal and fourth at the 1985 World Cup in her own country.
