Alicia Urreta
Alicia Urreta (born October 12, 1930 in Veracruz , † December 20, 1986 in Mexico City ) was a Mexican pianist and composer.
Life
Alicia Urreta was a student of Rodolfo Halffter at the Mexico City Conservatory . She has been a concert pianist since 1957 and taught chamber music and electronic music at the University of Mexico.
Among other works she composed a chamber opera , five ballets , pieces for solo instruments, a cantata , incidental music, a musique concrète for Noh -Theater and film scores.
