Alis Vidūnas

Alis Vidūnas (born November 8, 1934 in Reketija village , Marijampolė district , † February 19, 2009 ) is a Lithuanian politician and manager.

Life

From 1952 to 1958 Alis Vidūnas studied at the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute at the Faculty of Hydrotechnology and graduated with an engineering degree. From 1958 to 1962 he worked as a brigade leader in motorway construction in Vievis and then until 1995 in the Vilnius construction department .

From April 10, 1995 to January 21, 1997 Alis Vidūnas was mayor of Vilnius, from January 15, 1997 to November 15, 2000 the head of the Vilnius district .

From 2001 he was deputy director of the road construction company "Greitkelis".
