Alisier
Alisier ( fr: Alisier torminal; de: service tree ) or Eau-de-vie d'Alisier refers to a clear fruit brandy made from the fruit of the service tree . This schnapps with around 45 vol .-% is produced in Alsace and is known there as a specialty by connoisseurs. Its rather bitter taste is reminiscent of sloe - or pine schnapps . In Austria, the Alisier has an equivalent in the “Oadlatzbeerlschnaps” (Adlitzberry schnapps).
