Alison Moore
Alison Moore (born 1971 in Manchester ) is a British writer.
Life
Alison Moore studied literature at Liverpool University and Nottingham University . She published short stories that were collected in the volume The Pre-War House and Other Stories . In 2012, her debut novel The Lighthouse was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize , and her second novel, He Wants , was named “Observer Book of the Year” in 2014. She lives with her husband and son in Wymeswold , Borough of Charnwood .
