Aljaksandr Hasau ( Belarusian Аляксандр Васільевіч Газаў ; born June 17, 1946 in Moscow Oblast , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet sport shooter .

successes

Aljaksandr Hasau, who was active for the VS Minsk, took part in two Olympic Games . In 1976 he took first place in Montreal on the running target over 50 m with 579 points at the end and thus became Olympic champion . Four years later he was on the podium again in Moscow , with 587 points he received the bronze medal.

At world championships he secured the title five times. In 1973 he became world champion with the team in Melbourne and defended this title with her in 1974 in Bern . He also won the team title in the mixed run in Bern, as well as bronze in each of the two individual competitions. In 1979, Montecatini Terme won the title in a mixed run, both individually and with the team. In the normal run he won bronze with the team.
