Alcohol varnish
An alcohol varnish is a varnish for which ethanol (also called ethyl alcohol or generally alcohol ) is used as the solvent .
After the alcohol varnish has been applied, the solvent evaporates and the natural or artificial resin dissolved in it forms a layer of varnish on the surface to be protected.
