Allée couverte by Reclus

The Allée couverte of Reclus (also called Reclus Allée Dolmen ) is located in Bannay near Epernay in the Marne department in France .

The gallery tomb is located in the forest above the Petit Morin River . The remains of the mound are about 5.0 m in diameter and about 2.5 m high. The chamber is about 4.0 m long, 1.0 m wide and 1.4 m high. A local pamphlet claims that there are two deer scratches on the inside of one of the seven bearing stones on which three ceiling tiles rest. The front end stone of the ceiling is visible from the outside as a lintel .
