Ines Schüttengruber

Ines Schüttengruber (born May 26, 1986 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian organist , pianist , harpsichordist and music teacher .

Life

Ines Schüttengruber began her musical training in 2000 at the Josef Matthias Hauer Conservatory in Wiener Neustadt with Eugenie Russo . In 2004 she received the Bösendorfer diploma and the piano concert diploma in 2009 with distinction.

In 2004 she began studying at the Vienna University of Music in parallel to her training in Wiener Neustadt . She completed her studies in " Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (IGP) Piano " with Peter Barcaba in 2009 with a bachelor's degree and a diploma with distinction, " IGP Organ " with Peter Planyavsky in 2010 with a bachelor's degree and a diploma with distinction and the " Instrumental Studies in Organ " Peter Planyavsky in 2011 with the diploma with distinction.

From 2007 to 2014 she completed her harpsichord studies with Wolfgang Glüxam at the Vienna University of Music and received her IGP bachelor's degree in 2011 with distinction.

In between, she completed an Erasmus degree in organ, piano, harpsichord and clavichord at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2009/10 and attended master classes in Haarlem , Bremen and Paris with Harald Vogel , Martin Haselböck , Jos van der Kooy , Ewald Kooiman and Zsigmond Szathmáry, among others .

Her training was also made possible by a performance scholarship from the Vienna University of Music, a scholarship from the Alban Berg Foundation and a Martha Sobotka scholarship.

Schüttengruber began teaching at the Katzelsdorf Music School in 2005 , where she taught piano, organ and accompaniment until 2014 . In the summer semester of 2010, she was given a teaching position for accompaniment at the Institute for Music Education at the Vienna University of Music.

From 2010 to 2017 she gave piano instrumental lessons at the BORG Wiener Neustadt and in 2012/2013 she returned to the Vienna University of Music for a teaching position from the Institute for Organ, Organ Research and Church Music. Since 2013 she has been the artistic director of the Melk Summer Concerts and since October 2014 she has again been teaching at the Vienna University of Music. At the Institute for Keyboard Instruments (podium / concert) she teaches piano internship, piano and organ internship as well as organ freelance course for pianists.

Ines Schüttengruber is active in concerts both as a soloist and with duos (such as saxophone and organ) and ensembles at home and abroad. There were also organ and piano premieres in the Netherlands , Germany and Austria.

She played in the Oude Kerk (Amsterdam) , the Stiftskirche Melk , the RadioKulturhaus Wien with live broadcast on Ö1 , the Schottenkirche (Vienna) , the Westerkerk (Amsterdam) , the Jesuit Church (Vienna) and gave organ concerts in Tihany and in Graz Cathedral .

Schüttengruber has won several prima-la-musica awards.
