Wolfgang Glüxam

Wolfgang Glüxam (born November 17, 1958 in Melk ; † July 29, 2020 in Vienna ) was an Austrian harpsichordist and organist .

Life

He studied harpsichord with Ton Koopman at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and organ with Alfred Mitterhofer at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna , where he has been teaching since 1985.

His CD recordings were released on Austrian radio . These include u. a. Bach's Goldberg Variations, “Pièces de clavecin” by Jacques Duphly and four-hand sonatas by WAMozart (with Patrick Ayrton ). He also played a harpsichord player in the 1995 film Before Sunrise .
