" All the Lovers " is a song by Australian singer Kylie Minogue and was the first single from her eleventh studio album, Aphrodite . The song was released in Germany on June 11, 2010.

success

"All the Lovers" was written by the English duo Kish Mauve and was one of the last songs to be completed for the album. Minogue chose the song as the first single for the album, as it perfectly reflects the euphoric mood of the work. The lyrics of the song are an invitation to the dance floor and compare previous relationships with a current lover. "All the Lovers" was first introduced by Kylie Minogue on her website, where she uploaded a clip with the artwork of the album, in which the instrumental part of the bridge from "All the Lovers" can be heard. Critics compared the song to Minogue's song " I Believe in You ". "The song shines with a catchy chorus and could be a real hit again for the native Australian", says Tanja Kraus from CDStarts.

Music video

The music video for "All the Lovers" was shot by Joseph Khan in Los Angeles. The subject of the video was inspired by the images of the American photographer Spencer Tunick . The video begins with a flash mob of people drop whatever they are holding and begin to undress. They start kissing, forming a mountain of people, which Kylie Minogue is highlighted in the chorus of the song. The mountain gets bigger and bigger as the video progresses. In the bridge of the album, a white horse gallops through the streets between the kissing couples. Huge white shapes, including marshmallows and an elephant, fly around the city's buildings.
