Allan Fung
Allan Fung (born February 25, 1970 in Providence , Rhode Island ) is an American lawyer and politician.
Fung has served as Mayor of Cranston since 2009 . He succeeded the Democrat Michael Napolitano , becoming the first Chinese-born mayor in the state of Rhode Island. Fung was a Republican candidate for governor of Rhode Island in 2014 . He lost to Gina Raimondo in the election . Also in 2018 he will face Gina Raimondo in the election for governor.
