Allan Porter
Allan Porter (born April 29, 1934 in Philadelphia , USA) is a Swiss photographer from Lucerne .
Life
Allan Porter studied art history at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art from 1952 to 1957. From 1957 to 1963 he worked as a freelance photographer and artist. In 1964 he emigrated to Switzerland, where he first worked as an advertising specialist in Basel. In 1965 he became editor-in-chief of the photo magazine Camera , where he worked until 1981. He also worked as a lecturer, photo journalist and documentary photography .
