Allan Ritschardowitsch Erdman ( Russian Аллан Ричардович Эрдман ; born July 11, 1933 in Velikije Luki , Russian SFSR ) is a former Soviet sports shooter .
successes
Allan Erdman took part in the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne with the free rifle in the three-position fight. In this he scored 1137 points, with which he remained one point behind Olympic champion Vasily Borissow and won the silver medal in front of third-placed Vilho Ylönen . Between 1955 and 1963 he secured five national championship titles. After his active career, he worked as a sports shooting coach at CSKA Moscow . Erdman received the Badge of Honor of the Soviet Union .
