Allard Schröder

Allard Schröder (born June 14, 1946 in Haren , Netherlands ) is a Dutch writer .

Life

Allard Schröder made his debut in 1989 with the novella De gave van Luxuria: een groteske as a writer. In 1996 he was awarded the Halewijn Prize for his oeuvre . After he had already been nominated for the AKO Literatuurprijs for his novel Grover in 2000 , two years later he received the award for De hydrograaf , which was published in German in 2016.

Schröder lives and works both in Amsterdam and with his wife in Xiamen , where they both have an apartment.
