Halewijn Prize

The Halewijn Prize ( Dutch Halewijnprijs , also called Literatuurprijs van de stad Roermond ) is a Dutch literature prize . It is given to authors who deserve attention thanks to the quality of their published work.

This annual prize was awarded in 1987 by the Kring 84 Foundation , but only for the first time under the title Halewijnprijs . Since 1988, the prize has been awarded as the city of Roermond's literary prize.
