Stephan Enter

Stephan Enter (born November 12, 1973 in Rozendaal ) is a Dutch writer .

biography

Stephan Enter studied Dutch language and literature as well as Celtic literature and culture at the University of Utrecht . He made his debut in 1999 with the shorthand book Winterhanden , but had previously written two novels and twenty-five short stories, which he rejected for publication. With the novel Grip (2011) he reached a larger audience for the first time, so that he has been able to make a living from his work as a writer ever since. Enters work has been translated into German, Norwegian, Italian, French and Hungarian.

The author lives in Utrecht . Unlike other writers, he shuns the public and places great value on his private life. He wants to convince through his novels and be appreciated by the readers and not through appearances on talk shows.

Enter earns a lot of praise for its books. Despite his media aversion, he has received various awards and various nominations for prizes. This and the confirmation of his readership motivate him to work on new publications.
