Paul Baeten Gronda (born October 8, 1981 in Mol ) is a Belgian journalist and writer.

Life

Paul Baeten Gronda studied screenwriting with Marc Didden at the Sint Lukas University in Brussels. He became editor for the television company Woestijnvis in 2006 and worked there until 2012.

In 2006 he received a contractual advance payment for a novel from the De Bezige Bij publishing house , and the novel Nemen wij dan samen afscheid van dehlede was published in 2008. His novel Straus Park was nominated in 2013 for the Halewijn Prize.

Gronda writes for Knack magazine and the monthly column of De Morgen newspaper . He lives with his wife alternately in Italy and in Leuven.
