Peek's second novel Dover was published by Querido-Verlag in 2008 . The starting point is the port of Dover, where in June 2000 British customs opened the hold of a Dutch truck from Rotterdam and found 58 dead Chinese there. There are only two survivors among the victims of this human trafficking .
