The Alley Spring is a karst spring in the state of Missouri in the United States .

Alley Spring is located in Shannon County in the Ozark Mountains , on the northern edge of the settlement Alley Spring . The spring water of Alley Springs emerges from a 60 m long and 30 m wide, blue shimmering spring pot . It is located in a basin below a rock. The Alley Mill, also known as the Red Mill, stands at the outlet of the spring. The river that rises there flows into the Jacks Fork after about a kilometer . The spring pours an average of 3550 l / s. It was named after John Alley, the first miller at the source.
