The Bystander Nunatak is a 2435 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains it rises 8 km southwest of Forsythe Bluff on the west side of the Daniels Range .
The northern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition's campaign, which lasted from 1963 to 1964, named it after its isolated location.
