The Daniels Range is one of the topographically significant mountain ranges of the Usarp Mountains in northern Victoria Land . It is around 80 km long and around 15 km wide. In the north it borders on the Harlin Glacier , in the south on the Gressitt Glacier .

The geodetic survey was carried out by the United States Geological Survey and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after the diplomat Paul Clement Daniels (1903-1986), one of the leading US Americans Negotiator for the Antarctic Treaty in 1959.
