The Alligator Peak is a prominent mountain peak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises in the Alligator Ridge of the Boomerang Range in the Transantarctic Mountains .
The New Zealand crew of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named it based on the name of the Alligator Ridge.
